No, it is not alright to put you rglider outside. Where do you live first off? Why does your mom want him to sleep outside?

Unless you live in a climate that never goes under 65 and over 85, no they can't stay outside. Even if the climate conditions were right, there is still the treat of predators like snakes, larger animals and even birds. It is not a good idea! Hope your mom doesn't force the issue. If she does, for the sake of the glider, start looking for a new suitable home.

Far too many dangers..temps, weather, predators, harmfyl bugs, spider bites, pesticides, toxic fumes, escape. sunlight. Way too many...gliders are indoor pets period.

if she wants them to sleep outside send them back to australia. they live outside there and have a better chance of being eaten by something they are familiar with!

I thought that if a sugar glider could survive outside in your state then they were illeagal, due to threat to ecosystem, or something like that... I guess that would mean NO you can not let your glider live outside because, he would either die, or hes illeagal.:(

It accully matters how hot or cold it is out side. But most sugargliders are't used to the out doors, being somewhere were it is not common (or used to) will probly create a problem.
