I'm going to get my first sugar glider this weekend. I've just found one for sale close to me and it just so happens that I'm going to be close to there for a basketball tournament so on the way home I'm picking up my first sugar glider I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!

Hope you've done research and realize the commitment you need to make in having a sugar glider. If you haven't already done so, you need to purchase Caroline MacPherson's book, publisher Barrons. It should be available at any major book store.....Good luck.

Like anyone here would say, researching the husbandry of sugar gliders is very important before you buy one!!! Also be prepared with a large cage, and make sure you know what you will be feeding your glider. The best diet page is:
