can someone please give me some info. on the female menstrual cycle. I need to know how long they last, if they seem to be in pain, what all should be or could be done for them. Ours is biting herself and seems to be doing the self mutilating thing posted recently. We took her to the vet and they prescribed an ointment and gave her a shot of an antibiotic. Does anyone know if this could be something she will do each time she goes through her cycle? She is 6 months old and has been perfectly healthy until 3 days ago.
If anybody has any info--PLEASE, PLEASE send it to us. Thanks in advance.

Oh my! I don't have any experience w/ that. But I know you do have to keep a very close eye on her. Hope all turns out well...
