it has just gotten down to 27 degrees outside here in texas. i don't have central heat but window units, how cold is too cold for a glider, since my friend's glider died cos it got too cold and it wasn't this cold (around 50's or 60's) when it died. does it have to be in warm room during the day when it's in a pouch or just at night when it's out playing.

70 degrees sounds about right. If you browse through websites you are bound to find something. I am sure all of the emensly glorious (always good to flatter people when you want something from them  ) people will help you out from their own exsperieneces.

Warm Warm Warm is the key!
SugarGliders come from aussieland, where its VERY hot, hotter than anything over here, cept maybe texas in summer.
I live in WA, the state. cold cold cold!!.
Get some polar fleece (not polartech, it hurts glider hands) and make them pouches, blankets and tents. Itll keep em nice and toasty.

75-80 is great for gliders.keep it warm.

Right now its -31oC...(yes I live in Canada, but this is way below average) but don't worry that the outside temp. Inside its warm inside and the gliders are good!
