The bigger the better, IMHO. Taller is better than short and wide, because they like height.

The bigger the better. I personally have a 24x24x48 for one glider, and she loves it (especially the height) I wouldn't get her anything smaller.
I bought my cage material from Klubertanz. They sell the 16 gauge vinyl coated wire for pretty cheap. I got everything I needed to make my cage for under $50.00. It's definately worth it.

IS THERE AN ADDRESS FOR "KLUBERTANZ" OR AN E-MAIL ADDRESS. I MADE A CAGE FROM VINYL COATED STAINLESS STEEL 1/2" MESH, BUT IT WAS RATHER EXPENSIVE I WAS REQUIRED TO BUY A 4' X 8' PANEL OF THE MESH. IT WORKED OUT WELL BUT IF THE MESH OU USED IS CHEAPER THEN IT MIGHT WORK OUT BETTER FOR ME WHEN I BUILD MY NEXT CAGE.

Klubertanz web page is here:

I built a 6 1/2 ft. tall cage for about $100 including the tools to make it. My two gliders love to fly around in there.

I don't have a web address, here is their number, it's in WI, just describe what you need and they will cut to order and send it to you right away. It's 800-237-3899. I was very satisified with their work. Their wire is pre-cut to be 24" wide, they just cut the lengths you need, it's more expensive to get a different width cut. Mine was 4 pieces of 4' tall and 3 pieces (for top and double bottom-for tray) pieces for doors, door locks, and edging for the doors and with shipping it was under $50.00. We didn't use J-clips we just used zip ties (hardware store for 3 bucks) Her cage looks great and she loves it. Good luck! Email me if you have further questions.
