If your females are bonded to each other, splitting them up may not be such a good idea. This will be stressful to them. I didn't understand your post very well. Did you say that you already have one male? If you get each girl a male then I guess it wouldn't be as bad as getting one female a male and then having the other female all by herself.

YEs, I already have another male....I hae been letting all three the male and the two females play together, and I have already noticed that the male and one of the females have grown pretty fond of each other....I am looking for a male because I would like to breed and they said that trio breeding does not work...SO I am looking for another male....Could another be as friendly and nice as our Gibby...He has really surprised us from the first days of total crabbing to the little grunts today....Cool... smile

Jim,
One of the reasons you count not be receiving an answer is that it is illegal to breed/sell gliders without a USDA license... and there are very few licensed breeders in PA.
PA also has their own regulations regarding sugar gliders. (We've discussed this many times here before) It is illegal to import/export gliders from the state of PA - therefore you must purchase from one of the breeders within PA. PA Fish and Wildlife can enforce this regulation to the full extent of confiscating your current gliders and issueing a fine.
If you'd like to discuss the regulations, Id be more than happy to explain it in full context.

I am licensed and in PA - but I run with a waiting list for my hand-tamed joeys. If your willing to be patient, I'd be happy to place you on the list.

Hello Irish Creme......
I hope that from you name, that you have a little of the green in your blood...That is always a welcome sign for me....If not oh well.LOL anyways, I would really appreciate some more information regarding regulations for gliders in PA, and how to aquire a license, as we would like to breed sometime next year...As soon as all the pegs are lined up so to speak.....We have invested ALOT of time, money and patience into this project.....Please don;t take the word project as a heartless word...We treat all of our animals like pets and NEVER breed stock....Thanks Jim, Feel free to E-mail me..... ;)

Jim it is illegal to bring any gliders in to the state of PA. You can only buy from a PA liscensed breeder. When you try to get your liscence they want to see the papers on each of your gliders proving that you got them from a PA liscenced breeder. If you did not purchase each of your gliders from liscenced usda PA breeders then they will consider them illegal and give you a notice that you have to get them out of the state. Do not even try to breed if you can't prove you got them from Legal PA breeders. This just happened recently to someone on glider central.

Please be sure you have everything in order before contacting USDA - Or you and your gliders could be at risk.
