Gliders do a good job of cleaning themselves. You should allow them to wash themselves. If they do get into soemthign they can't get off..then you can use a warm washcloth or cotton balls to gently rub whatever it is off. Make sure they get dried off good so they don't catch a cold. Never use an air drier..it can burn them.
