what should i do about my glider when i let him out at night, can you be potty trained or not. what are some methods used to show the sugar glider that he can't go potty in places.

Gliders are just not good candidates for potty training. They go where they want to when they want to.
It does help a little though, to make sure he has gone in the cage BEFORE you let him out.
This will help some, but there is no way that I have ever heard of to keep them from not going at all when they are outside the cage.
Just keep a kleenex handy. It is just like a hamster's which makes cleanup easy.

i have found that you can't completley potty train them...but if you take a piece of toilet paper and gently rub it under his tail he will go on the toliet paper. of course that only works till the next time he has to go. then he goes where he wants.
