Hi everyone,
Y'all have been an excellent source to go to when help is needed. I, once again, am in need of assistance.
I have 2 gliders, Neo (4 months old, male) and Morpheus (3 months old, male) both have not been neutered, yet. That's coming at the end of this month. Anyway, just recently, Neo is not coming out as much at night. Both boys sleep, nestled behind our bed. We are able to see and touch them all the time. They usually wake up at about 9:00 p.m. Morpheus immediately wakes up, eats and wants to play all night long. Neo, on the other hand, likes to stay behind the bed and has only been getting up around 3 hours a night, and sleeps ALL day long. He stays awake pretty much through the night but he stays behind the bed the whole time. I'm worried about him because he used to be so active then all of a sudden his energy level is way low. We are going to be getting them neutered at the end of this month. Could the reason for his energy loss be because he is going through "glider puberty"? I honestly have no idea what to think. Also, he is biting an awful lot, and not just nibbles, he's really biting us hard. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tiffani

It does not sound like glider puberty...durring puberty they are more agreesive and soemtimes act sort of "wild". They actaully tend to have more energy not less.

The fact that he is sleeping so much and biting you when he normally doesn't sounds like he isn't feeling well.

This glider needs to see a vet.

Thanks for the advice, I will get him to a vet. Also, thanks for the compliments on the names. We love the Matrix too, if it's not obvious. hehe
