Kitara you said there was an ingrediant on food for Sugar Gliders? What is the ingrediant? Thanks. I was wondering if anyone had any extra tips on stuff like, what I should do the first time I have a sugar glider, I know they will be lonely and I have also read that they won't eat but what should I do for a new Glider? Any other food ingrediants for Sugar Gliders?

Angela, you need to research the diet for these animals. As we discussed, they eat bugs, fruit, veggies, and leadbeaters mix. I think the leadbeaters mix is what you are refering to. However I think it is very important for you to understand why they need to eat a certain diet.
<a href=http://angelfire.com/nb/sugarglider>http://angelfire.com/nb/sugarglider</a>
is a great place to start. You will find that there are differant diets and once you have read about them you can decided which is right for you and your future glider. We are here to help you if you have more questions, happy reading! raspberry

I read the one message about a sugar glider that died shortly after being fixed, thats so sad. I never would have thought that that kind of thing could happen.

Kitara? The second safe plant site was for birds. Is it the same for Sugar Gliders and birds? Thanks. And thanks again Mary/Beck.

There is very little information on what is actually safe and toxic for a glider so we have to rely on information for other species of animals. Birds are very sensitve so we tend to say if its toxic for a bird then it would also be for a glider.
