My two gliders are let out of there cage very night fo a couple hours in my room. its glider proofed to my best 
They like to jump and play and go under my bed. I went to the pet store and decided to try a new idea. It can be expensive but if you louv your babbies then youll get it for them. I got one of those really big cat posts, that have many levels and rooms and scratching posts for cats. My gliders cant get enough playing on it because of all the levels to jump off of and rooms to explore. There great

just wanted to say that the cat toy you are talking about can be built very enexpensively with plywood liquid nails and carpet remnants.and yes they are awesome toys.

Great idea about making your own. There are so many original ideas for toys ... may have to build on another room just for gliders and toys, lol.

there nails dont really get stuck that ive noticed, but i keep there nails well trimmed.

How are you trimming their nails. I can't get mine to hold still!!!

with a small regular human fingernail trimmer, wake them up mid day when you dont genereally wake them up, there not used to it and will be tired its eawsyier then, hold them next to your chestr in a pouch till they fall asleep agin,usually very quickly, then be gentle and you can do it withoput them even waking up.:)

I have one of those cat stands. I bought it at walmart for 28 dollars. Its very skinny but over 7 ft high. It has an adjustable top so it goes from the floor to the ceiling. It has 4 leveles. They love clibing it and gliding off. Its amazing how far they can glide from the very top.

no way could I trim my gliders nails they are never tired i wake them during the day and its no big deal they think they are supposed to be up and up they will stay for twenty minutes or so.
