I feed my gliders aspargus, both raw and steamed. With the seed grapes I cut them in half and remove the seeds. Those are the cheapest grapes right now at 1.50 a pound. So I spent an hour taking the seeds out and then freezing the grapes.

Didnt know I could freeze grapes! Do they get mushy after you thaw them out?

I didn't even think about freezing the grapes! and I should have because I used to eat them frozen when i was younger. but that will help a lot, cause we have been throwing away the rest of them when they go bad. and If I freeze them they won't go bad!! thanks for the help!

I freeze all kinds of fruits. I got tired of throwing away extra fruits and veggies. Now I buy them and cut them into small pieces and freeze them.

Apples and pears are the two things I do not freeze. I have found that my gliders snub them when they are frozen. WHat I do is buy the very small red delicious apples. They are small enough that my 3 pairs get a quarter each and then my dog gets the last quarter(my dog LOVES asparagus, I caught him stealing it out of the glider's bowls one night!) This way I don't have to refridgerate it or anything. I also get the small bartlet pears(green) and do the same.

you know what i have found to be the best way to not have extra fruits and veggies.. a guinea pig, my piggy Millie is in the same room as my gliders and she weakes like crazy when she knows I am feeding the gliders it means she will get a treat too!! My dogs help out too though, my guinea pig would be just a PIG if she got all the left overs.
