I would like to make a new cage for my gliders, I remember someone posting about using pvc for the frame, I would like more info on pvc for the frame from anyone that has seen this done or has done it!! The main question that I have is how the wire is attached to it? Thanks for any info anyone can provide!

My cages are PVC framed, although there are problems with it. easier to clean however not intended for use with galvanized wire. you can use cable ties to hold the wire on the frame. Martins cages offer the heavier pvc coated wire, that doesn't need framing

Get another piece of pvc that will fit over the outside of the piece running up the corners, cut it in 1/2 so its not a pipe anymore and just 2 halfs, cut them into, and you have 4 pieces, now at the corners put one of the 4 pieces u just made over the wire that is on top of the pvc tube and use 1/4" screws and screw it on in 3 or 4 places, then you have no charp edges to snag on stuff. Hope this helps someone. raspberry raspberry raspberry raspberry

One of the cages I use is pvc pipe framed, but instead of wire cage panels it has a mesh that zips over it. I got the cage from one of the guys I got one of my gliders from. He said he built the pvc fram himself then ordered the mesh that zips over it off of the internet. Unfortunately I have not been able to find out where on the internet. One of the best things about this cage is that I just unzip it and through it in the washer on delicate cycle then run it through the rinse cycle twice. I put it back on the frame to dry. If anyone know where I could get another one let me know.
