Having added natural tree limbs (safe ones) in the past few months to my gliders cage, I recently noticed a new behaviour in him. He is chewing off thin twigs from the branches and taking them to his nesting box (where he has slept comfortably on a bed of soft material for nearly four years). Anyone heard of gliders doing this, and if so, could you please explain what he is doing and possible reasons for him to just now start this activity. He has had access to the branches for a while, but just recently began to bring them to "bed."
Thanks -
If you have time, please email me any insights, I'm not on the page enough to notice a response.
