Congrats on your finding these great creatures, and even more so, congrats on reseaching before buying!!
I just wanted to offer an idea to help prepare you for potential ownership of a sugar glider. Seeing how they are nocturnal animals...test yourself. Arrange your schedule as though you already have a glider. Prepare food at 11pm, and use imaginary play time from 11:30-2am, and then get ready for work or school the following morning. Work on getting a proven, healthy diet for your imaginary babies. Carry a little pouch thingy around you for a couple hours a day...be gentle, to experience the day/bonding time that a glider needs. Do this for a month, and see if you may be ready schedule-wise.
I heard about this technique when I first got my gliders, and I wish I would have tried it. I seriously felt like a new mom for the first several months of being a new owner! Dark circles under eyes and everything!
Best of luck, and again, Congrats!
