just a suggestion -- maybe she just wants a companion (besides human). I know when I brought my little Feurte home she acted kinda reclusive until I let her play with my Gizmo. Now she is very happy, and I think eats more, (same as my Gizmo), which is why i hate to make them live separately now (risk of her getting pregnant too soon). Just something to think about! hope it helps.
