I finally could figure out what sex my two youngest gliders are (today, I bribed Mary with a mealie and she was not offended when I took her babys away for a while). Theyīre both male. I now plan to keep one of them with Mary and Neon, taking him as my "personal" glider (as Mary and Neon are somewhat more the "breeder-type" of bonded) while selling the other one together with Silk and Velvet (both females). I think that is the best way to keep my glider-population small and let Mary and Neon have their peace together.
One thing Iīm curious about is the "Training" mentioned in one of the previous posts (the thing with the towel...does this really work, and if - isnīt it a little bit cruel to just throw your glider around? Donīt get me wrong, I mean no offense by this, just a question because I would love to see at least one of my gliders actually glide - after all, they have a whole room for themselves and plenty of space. Why not use it?
Any suggestions, experiences...
