Well, yikes! Last evening I was fixing the boys' dinner and they were
hanging around and supervising, as usual. A few minutes later I heard
a frenzied little crackling sound coming from behind one of their food
containers. I looked and there was Clyde - he broke into the peanut
bowl and was shoving them down two hands at a time. From the looks
of the peanut shells, he got at least two whole peanuts down before
I caught him. Ever seen a guilty glider? I swear he was hanging his
head in shame.
Problem - can the infusion of so many fatty nuts cause a problem for
him? I only give them one peanut a month usually. He is now on
double-secret peanut probation - and I've moved the nuts to a metal
bowl!
