: I aquired a Bearded Dragon Lizard a while back and was wondering if the lights you get for reptiles to help them wiht their vitamin-calcium absortium could possibly help gliders.
: The gliders would not be subject to the light unless they felt like sunbathing.I guess thats why they come out in the day.they get a bite to eat, drink, use the rr and hang on the side of the cage for a little while. It could be they hear me or smell me and wonder whos going to get THE peanut today.
: As these light bulbs are 20.00 each i was wondering has anyone done any research in this area.I know a couple of bird people that use them. Thanks
This is just a suggestion but I do also take care of many reptiles and plants and was under the assuption that the lights provide vitamins because they are so close to actual sunlight.
Now it is my understanding that you want to keep your gliders out of direct sunlight so I wouldnt suggest using one of those bulbs.
But if you do find out that it is harmless and good for them.. I would definatly like to know.
