Could your husband have had another animals smell on him? If your glider smelled something he didnt like he may have attacked him for that reason. I recently got a 9 month old male glider and whenever I play with him first and then try to get my other male out, I GET ATTACKED, I am talking really badly attacked. He has even drawn blood on me a few times. I thought that it was because I smelled like the other glider, but the other night I totally scrubbed and tried to hold him and he still attacked me. I kindof get the impression that he SEES me holding the other and it really ticks him off :>
In any case when I hold my older male and then hold my younger one, the younger never attacks me, he just spends his time marking me. Funny how different gliders act so different.
My guess would be that your husband had some smell your glider DID NOT like. Just my thoughts.
Brooke
