I loved your story. I also would like to see your poem and artwork. I like hearing stories about gliders. My Daquiri is sleeping on the top of the keybourd right now as I type.
Today was her first day at school. I bring her with me, she sleeps on the back of my neck or in pockets. My school is small and has less than 100 students in the high school. It is pretty mellow(boring to say the least)so I don't worry about students hurting her. I am a teachers aid for Pre-school, she sleeps in her pouch for this hour, up high where the kids can't see or touch her. All my teachers like her, so school isn't a place I worry about. She is safe there.
