: Ok its 2 in the morning. Can not find my answer. The place I bought my sg said I can bring home my sg next wk, but she is 4 wks oop. Is this too soon? She nibbles from my fingers. I have been visiting her every other day for 2 wks today she came to me when I called out to her. I'm afraid this may be to soon. what do you guys think?

I have yet to pull a baby older than 30 days out of the pouch.BY this time baby gliders can eat applesauce, apples, nibble cat food, plain yogurt, and just about any variety of baby food.
To leave them with their parents any longer is waiting for them to mimic their parents behavior.
I use an eyedropper to give them the liquid stuff just to create that special bond between me and the glider.I beleive at 5 weeks the glider is looking for something to bond with And if i dont sell MY gliders by 6 weeks i dont sell them unless that is what the new owner prefers
If the babies tail is furred out(fluffy)Then i pull it.If you want to know how i know this i have a friend who has 1200 pairs and she cant keep oop dates on all of them and goes by the tail.Just my opinion
