Subject: Two things...warning and question

Surely everyone but me knows this already, but keep your glider out of the kitchen. Eos is just really starting to glide, and this morning she glided toward some food on the counter. I would never have thought she could get that far, but she did. One of her foot pads was burned - I feel terrible! I took her right away to the vet and she will be taking antibiotics for a week. I hate to admit I'm that dumb, but maybe someone else will learn from my mistake. The vet says he commonly sees burned animals from hot liquids spilling, etc.
Also, he weighed Eos and said she is heavy. She weighs exactly 4 oz., and the ISGA says 4-6 oz is normal adult weight. He approved of her diet, but said she doesn't look like she can glide (she can). What do you think? Any info on best glider weights?
Thanks,
:( Tiffany
