I only have sold the babies of my pair plus others that I rescued. all my gliders have been at the point where they will cuddle and fall asleep in anyones hands. Everyone who has got a baby from me has been super happy and I havent had anyone having problems with bonding at all. completely unlike the stories here. W, you got astro from me - do you agree? None of my babies have had any problem accepting other people and we handle ours for about half an hour from day 1. I would say that my gliders are tame and social. I feel that if the babies crab and bite strangers then the new owner can become discouraged. So I wouldnt exactly agree that your gliders, glidergal, are tame. but I have always told people that the definition of tame differs immensely and not to agree to buy a glider until they see and like the animal. If all gliders were like my babies there would be less need for all the boards like this but I cant see it happening. But then I still worry and fuss about my babies months after they are adopted and feel no guilt about phoning up the owner to ask how they are. As I say I dont sell an animal I am merely placing MY babies!!!!
