The thing was - nobody even knew what a Sugar Glider was. They just said "marsupials" as a whole were banned. I will be looking further into it, thanks.
: I called a pet store in Hamilton and she said on the list of Illigal animals for Ontario... Sugar Gliders are not on it. The list she has came out in November\98. So she said unless they have came out with a new one that is it not illigal to own a glider!!! She suggested to call our township and ask them to be on the safe side.. just in case Hamilton has a different list of animals.. More than likley they should be the same. Also she said they are not allowed to sell Wallabys and a few others but they can sell SG's.. Some marsupials are banned. If it was illigal in all of ontario their breeder would be illigal as well. So hopefully she is right!!! But I'm still going to call my township to be sure.
