The only reason I can think of that a glider would chew furniture would be that there's something on it that makes it think there's something to eat there.
Maybe a child has wiped fingers here and there after eating a cookie or candy or something. You wouldn't be able to see anything but the glider might smell something.
Is it in certain places? If so, spray disinfectant there (like a tiny squirt of lysol). Each time you see the glider go to chew a spot, remove the glider from the spot and put a little squirt. The glider won't go back to the spot.
i : My gliders chew all of my furniture. The fabric on my chairs have holes in them. Do gliders grow out of their chewing since they are not rodents? Can I use Bitter Apple on my furniture to keep them from chewing or is it harmful for gliders? Please help.
