We give her Nutriglider and they get yogart about 4-5 times a week (we feed them twice a day) exactly how much calcium do they need? Also, (they are about 3 weeks out of the pouch) they won't eat any of the trail mix that we give them or any of the bird seed will this come later? Do your chirp/hiss? Is this a sign of happiness?
: : We had a wooden box in their cage that over a weeks span
: : is riddled with poop and urine. We bought some PVC pipe
: : and removed the wooden box. Koa was always in the box but
: : now does not seem to like the PVC. Will she adjust or are there other things to use that they will like better?
: I don't blame her for not liking the PVC pipe, I bet she would be much happier in a pouch.
: : Koa's eyes are starting to look runny, more-so in the A.M.
: : and this morning she was shaking. My boyfriend (who is home with them during the day) says they are always more shaky during the day then at night. However, she was full of energy yesterday afternoon. Any reason for concern here and do they get eye infections?
: I would recommend taking her to the vet for a check-up.
: About the shaking, do you give her a calcium supplement? If so, how much and how often?
: I had heard somewhere one of the symptoms of oversupplementation of calcium is shaking.
