: We currently have two females with babies in pouch. Myra is on her fourth litter and has huge healthy babies. She's an old pro at this and I'm expecting to see her babies in about a month.

: Gizmo is Myra's daughter from her first litter showed bulges at about the same time as Myra but Gizmo's babies are smaller, significantly smaller.
: Allowing for two weeks margin for OOP times how long after Myras come out should I wait before I take Giz to a vet to have her babies looked at?

I had two babies that were so tiny I feared for their survival. They came oop 10/17/98. Survive they did and they are what I call miniature gliders because of their small size. The smallest is about 1/2 the size that he should be. I never took either of them to the vet. I just gave them what I could to help them survive. If you feel the need to take them to a vet do it as soon as you are comfortable with the fact that you can actually do some good such as supplemental feedings with an eye dropper. Follow your heart on this one.
