: I have just helped a glider find a new home it's previous owner can attestest to the fact that he would bite TO the bone. This glider (and I have talked with owners of others) have been thought that they were bred with a Pit Bull.. Is it an unsocialized behavior ??? maybe, sometimes but sometimes it is inadaquite diets, A mean disposition. Mind you also that I am not saying the biting always continues, But as karen has said.. It takes time, much more time to build a trust and overturn behaviors that have been left go. I never believed and probably never will that any glider can't find it right person.. By the way this glider new owner says that she has him down to only about 1 nip a week.. But at least she knows when to expect it now. He no longer bites. He used to bite and sink his teeth in and literally shake his head and wouldn't let go..
