Go here to see how to put a hole in a shot glass with an x-acto blade http://www.sugarglider.com/video/view.asp?v=243 I started this toy by putting four glasses on links.

This is just a plastic container lid. Punch a total of eight holes along the inside ring (two for each piece-place them and mark to determine location) and four equally spaced along the outside where you will attach the shot glasses.

These are party favors from the dollar tree-it's a ring toss game. See finished picture for the rings. This is where the pieces will be once attached to the lid. Notice each piece has a hole on either side of it.

Knot string well and insert down through one of the holes that the piece will be between. Place piece over know so that it won't be exposed.

Thread string up through the hole on the other side of the piece and cross back over the base

Position string over one side of base and feed through hole on opposite side

Thread string up through the first hole again

Thread through the second hole again, positioning the string on other side of base.

Thread string up through the first hole where the second piece will be placed.

Position string over base and feed through hole on opposite side

Pull through the first hole
