Since it seems to be the going trend, I suppose I ought to share some info about me I grew up near Chicago, IL. I lived in the same house all the way through high school. After 6th grade my family was supposed to move to China for my father's job. That plan fell though, and we ended up staying. The spot in my class at school had already filled up, so the principle suggested I join the 8th grade class instead of the 7th grade class. In general it worked out pretty well. When I graduated high school, I went to college at Clemson University for computer science and computer engineering. I met my now husband my freshman year. We were very good friends for 3 years, dated for 2 and have now been married for 4 years. At school, I was part of the equestrian team for 3.75 years. I ended up quitting in the end because it felt more like a sorority than a team. I was also a member of the gaming guild, which was a group that played a variety of games including pen and paper rpgs, trading card games, war games and board games of all sorts. After graduation, my husband and I got married at the botanical garden's on our school's campus. It was the perfect place for our ceremony because we had met at school and most of our friends had attended so everyone could relate. After the wedding we moved to Florida, which is where my husband grew up. South Carolina was too cold for him . Today, I work at a small not-for-profit association called the American College of Physician Executives as a web programmer. I am about to graduate with my master's degree in computer science from University of South Florida (next Friday as a matter of fact). I am considering continuing on for my PhD. I have 4 dogs, 2 horses and of course my 7 glider babies. I enjoy participating in judo, horseback riding, video games and all other sorts of games. |

Hehe. I liked SC quite well, but I guess when you grow up in Florida, any sort of winter is too much winter. Thanks for the congrats on my graduation! Now I just have to actually finish all my final projects and studying for finals. Back to work with me :P |
