If you aren't planning on ever getting a female sugar to breed him with, would it be better to neuter your male sugar glider? (less stink, less biting, etc.) ?

No matter what, eventually you will need to fix him. We had a single male for nearly two years before we adopted our little girl. I've heard that they bite less when fixed, also.

Neutering is best. If you are not planing on having girls, then you will need two boys(colony animals), and they will have to be neutered, or they will fight for territoy.
Neutering calms them down, and they dont smell as much.
