Okay so i've decided to get another glider and really want a caramel. Found a breeder that breeds them and i'm getting this male sometime in february however i just want to make sure i'm getting a caramel sugar glider.

So for those who have knowledge of this type of sugar glider and/or those who own some, does this look like a caramel?

Update on this post :p Got this sweet boy home last saturday and he's definitely all caramel. He doesn't sound anything like my other gliders and his little tail is the cutest, it stays in a tight curl all the time. He is also the sweetest glider i've ever had. Already sleeping in my hand. <3

My nephew has named him Bambi. :)

Good point, I will ask about the lineage, thanks.

I've seen darker caramels too though. Even from that link you posted. They mention Tyler of gliderboy gliders whom i've never purchased from but i've seen his caramels and some are light and some are dark. And the breeder told me the glider is 8 weeks old so i can't really tell what size he is compared to a standard by the photos. Also could be lighting making him look darker or staining.

Here a pic of a standard gray for comparison purposes. The one i'm getting from the breeder has a bigger nose and larger ears. Idk, they don't look similar to me.

Here's a description of Caramels from The Pet Glider website - "They have a light caramel color to a light gray, with slightly larger ears adding to an overall slightly larger appearance. Some have white hands with a little white going up their wrists, and their tails are usually a little fully, generally held in a curled potition (althought they can straighten them as well). The joeys get bigger faster than our "standard" gliders, and they have a calm disposition once they get to know you!"
