Omg i have typed this 2 times lol and keep forgetting something, and have to start over.

Short question, Clyde won't keep his e-cillar on pot neuter (he is 2, I have had him a year, and have been working with the pair to be able to even pet and love on them, I got them from my local pet store, they were on consignment, and I am not sure the old owners held them ever, so I waited until they were a little more friendly)

He is pom off, she tried on, but just didn't happen, she gave him local pain meds and anti inflamitory. He is leaving it alone, nd seems active almost like nothing even happend.

So questions are

1. Do I fight him on the e-collar and try to get it on the smaller setting? Or leave him alone since he isn't bothering it? Or some other option lol.

2. When can I put him back in with his Bonnie? (I have to cages connected but can seperated them off)

Our girl had to have a leg amputation and we were given an e collar and told to use it only if she’s messing with it. They said between the pain killers and antibiotics she shouldn’t bother with it much but it was a just in case she does kind of thing. If he isn’t messing with it and you’re able to monitor him a lot to make sure of it then I’d say go with out, maybe use it on days you know you won’t be able to check on him frequently. We had to wait for her wound to completely heal because other gliders tend to mess with the “wounds” out of curiosity.

I'm sorry not sure what's best but he's sure a handsome fella! Maybe consult with vet.
