The breeder I purchased Tank and Mocha from found out that I dabble in the arts, and so, has asked me to commission a few black on white solids that will eventually be used for both advertising on her site as well as car decals! I haven`t had much of a chance to experiment with this style of art before, so I am excited to have an excuse now!

I will post images as I find time to create them. Here is the first. I emailed it to Gail, just to make sure that I had her original idea right. Also, (because I so enjoy toying with my marcomedia program) I`m posting a grayscale version of this image as well! =)

It was really difficult to keep the image simplistic, as I`m used to dealing with realism and extreme detail. For decals however, the simpler the image - the better. I actually scrapped several attempts before this one finally turned out. The other ones were just too busy for the eye. =)

Even if Gail doesn`t turn them into decals, I think that I will get them done myself (eventually). Black and white will be good, black and clear - cool as well... maybe even white and clear, so it will stand out against the window! Will be fun! Here`s the latest completed piece. I love how his little 'skin-flap' (flying membrane) showed so nicely against the black! =) Not sure about all of you, but my two gliders utilize this pose OFTEN! LOL

Awesome I work for a place that makes car decals too I have been trying to get The guy in that department to make me some for my cars... he can never find any good art to cut. So If she doesn't use your art get in touch with me.. I am sure we can do it. hehe
