How do you make one of those pipe cages? I saw the one purpleconvers made and I love it! How do we keep the gliders in when we open the door though? Can I make 2 smaller doors, and a realy small one on the side for me to stick their food in?

I'm in the process of building one of these right now. I've been PMing back and forth alot with Catman..lol! The beauty of these cages is you can do whatever you want with it. What I've learned so far....use 3/4 inch PVC pipe, it's sturdier than 1/2 inch. Use 8 inch zip ties, smaller ones are harder to grab. Use gloves. Don't make it so big you can't get it through the door. Build the opposite sides with the same sections, when you start adding different joints on opposite sides it adds length and then it will be uneven....that's all I can think of so far. Mine should be finished today, and I'll put up finished pics when done.

Using pvc, mess and zip ties u can build any size or shape u want. Any size door and as many as u want. The only real thing I would say is to make double sure it is glider safe, no way out for them and no way in for anything else.

best_friendz2 , yeah like streetdoc said you can make it almost any size or shape you want. It snaps together almost like a kids building set. You just have to figure out what size you want, but not bigger than the doors in you house . Here are a few pics of a frame and some cages.

You just need some kind of saw, tape measure and some free time .The more cross bars and supports you add, the more things you can hang.

Do you have a pull out drawer on the bottom there where you have it on wheels?
Or maybe directions on how you would make one there? Very nice cage by the way. Hubby and I want to build one but have a bottom that pull out for cleaning.
