I cant decide between the Genji tent or the fun zone tent. I know many people have the Genji, but is the fun zone tent also good for tent time? Id appreciate your opinions

heres the Genji tent

and the fun zone tent

Do you want to leave it set up for long periods or up & down nightly?

The genji is a pop up fold down, very easy to take up & down.
The fun zone is more difficult it is NOT a pop up. You will have to assemble a disassemble every time you put it up & take it down.

Both are nice with lots of screening for babies to climb & play and ventilation so you won't get too warm.

I like them both but I would lean towards the fun tent just because it seems taller. Just an FYI I don't have or use a tent for my gang. Just my

I now have both (new babies coming needing their own tent during quarantine).

Here they are set up side by side.

The play tent diameter is about the same as the Genji front to back so may be a better choice for a small space. The screen on the playtent is a square mesh fabric similar to regular window screen - gliders have not tried it yet so I can't say for sure how it will hold up. The Genji is a much finer material that I have found is getting fuzzy in some areas where my gliders like to hang out the most - not wearing through after 6 mos use but eventually might.

I do not take the genji down but I understand it can be tricky to fold back up and of course it takes 2 seconds to pop up.

The play tent is very easy to set up - insert 3 shock-cord poles and tuck them in the pockets at each end. Taking it down was also very easy. I do not think either setting up or taking it down took more than 5-10 minutes tops. I did not time it.

Both tents are roomy for glider play and have about equal head room for people.

Both tents look like they will do the trick. Now the question is how much do they want to spend. Candy thanks for the photo and insite.

I love my Genji. I have to take mine up and down every time. It did take a little bit to figure out how to fold it back up the first time. You have to be careful or it can bend, but I got it to pop back into place. Once you figure it out though it is a peice of cake. I also got to close when it poped up and it hit me under the chin. Nice little bruise. Just be careful if you get it. It does work very well for me and my babies.

It takes just seconds to fold back up once you get the hang of it. The trick is to have someone else read the instructions while you act them out. Sounds complicated, but once you do it that first time it's easy. I fold mine up after every use - not a problem at all.

Definitely have someone help you the first time! I got this advice and didn't follow it at first. Then had to go get Hubby!

i have the junior dome tent from walmart (was only 20 bucks) it works great and for a camping style tent is pretty easy to set up...just 2 poles that cross in the middle. Still takes a few minutes to set up and tear down...kinda wish i had a pop up.

No apologies! Then time is when you take your suggies into the tent to play. I play with mine in a tent because I have 2 cats and a dog. Plus I have lots of places in my house where they could easily get lost. They aren't bonded yet so I am afriad they would run for it!

Yes. So they can play and you can play with them - out of the cage. It is really good for bonding. I have the tent on the left and it is actually pretty big.

As for the Junior dome tent from walmart. Its pretty cheaply made. I got stuck in it for half an hour last night!....had to practically break it open.
