Ok, hopping on this bandwagon. My name is Lyndia…pronounced plain ‘ol LINDA…my mother wanted to be creative. While I hated it while I was growing up because it is ALWAYS pronounced wrong and kids are cruel, I’ve learned to appreciate it or moreso the idea that my mother gave it to me and wanted me to be unique. She died when I was 7 and I was raised by my aunt. Since I was so young and had cousins that called my aunt MOM, I just followed suit so I’ve always called her Mom & my cousins have always been my brothers & sisters.

I grew up in O’Fallon MO. before it was a large town but my “dad” was a drunk & abusive so my mom took off to WI. with my younger “siblings” and I stayed since I was 16 and didn’t want to change my life at that point. I did end up heading north when I was 19 at which time I met my husband. We dated for a year and a half then married. January 6th will be 23years. We have 3 children, all of whom aren’t children anymore. My oldest daughter is 22, middle daughter will be 19 on Feb.4th. Our son will be 16 on Jan. 29th. My oldest blessed us with our granddaughter 4yrs. ago and she is the love of my life. I now understand the saying, “grandchildren are Gods reward for not killing your teenagers.”

Shortly after we married my hubby joined the US ARMY and we were stationed at Ft.Campbell KY. He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield & I was an Army Wife for many years….TOUGHEST JOB IN THE ARMY! Raised my kids, took care of my home & worked college in there… Needless to say, we kind of got planted here and have been in Clarksville Tn./ Ft.Campbell Ky. since 1989.

After I got my little man into Kindergarten I went to college.
I have a college degree in Accounting and Business Management and was the manager of the District Office of H&R BLOCK here in Clarksville for several years until my grandbaby came along. I quit so I could stay home to care for her while my daughter went to college and worked full time. I feel like life is tough and I needed to give her every opportunity to be able to better herself so she can take care of her child successfully since she’s a single mom and gets no financial help from the sperm donor as I refer to the low-life. My little darling will start school next year so I will reconsider my options at that time.

I love photography and hiking in the woods and when I can combine those two things I am in HEAVEN! I am a card carrying member of the NRA and love going to the range and shooting my 9mm XDM. I also have my Concealed Carry Permit.

I have 2 Jack Russell Terriors and of course my 4 babies,…Jasper, Zoey, Kodah & Mala who are hanging off of various areas of my bra at this moment. I’ve never really sewn but have learned quite a bit and am getting pretty good at it since having these little loves.

And Kylah, I guess I should add...which I NEVER DO....I HATE ME MIDDLE NAME! Again, as I get older and have learned what I've learned, I've begun to appreciate although I don't share this...but for you guys I will....

Of course we have my first name...then my middle is RONETTE...Yeah, I know!
But my "moms" as I call them were sister and only 14mo. apart...very close. They were both pregnant at the same time with their 1st children. My older sisters name is BABETTE...I never knew her...she went to live with her father when our mother passed. My "aunts" daughter was named RHONDA...Needless to say I'm sure you can imagine how close my mother & my aunt were with eachothers children... my little cousin Rhonda died of crib death when she was only a few months old. I have a photo of my mother looking at her as she rested in her casket. My aunt said it broke my mothers heart when she passed...it was like her losing her own child...SOOOOO my middle name is a combination of my older sisters name and my little cousins... Rhonda & Babette...Ronette.

At least you have one! My parents were LAZY. LOL

My best friend is in Clarksville(army also) and I'm so happy you have a Mala :) Fab read!! Do you have just as much energy as your dogs?! My brother has a jack and a bo-jack and it's crazy hectic when I go visit him!!

Heck, I wish I could bottle their energy! They're actually pretty mellow in the house but let 'em out in the backyard & they can run for hours! My neighbor has cats that like to walk the top of the privacy fence....You can imagine how fun THAT is!
