So I have been noticing a little trend in the general chat and thought I might try to jump on the little band wagon before it skipped town. There were a few people that had posted about themselves and I thought that it might be good to start a place for everyone to write about themselves.
My name is Sommer, I am 4'8" 110lb and would be "adorable" if I didn't cuss like the Illegitimate offspring of a drunken sailor and a Ukrainian whore. According to almost all of my friends,I am a laid back closet geek with a slight case of 'Little man Syndrome'.
I have a twin sister named Samantha, we are 24. I have a little brother that's just turned 21 and has probably retired more guardian angels than Evel Knievel. I got married the week after I turned 18 and am still in love with the only man I have ever truly wanted to kill. (To be honest I get to the part where I have to move his body and basically hit a brick wall). I come from a big family, my Father, and paternal grandparents raised my siblings and I. My mother was out of the picture by the time I was 4, literally left my father on my 4th birthday. I have one aunt that has 16 kids, and another with 6. We are all very close. No one is closer to my heart than my Papa Ray, he is the greatest man that has ever lived and there's nothing that can prove to me otherwise. Some days I think I married him, my husband is so similar.
I work for a hotel part time to keep myself from getting bored in between clients. I run an event planning company out of Panama City Fl. We service all of the north east panhandle area and have even done some work with Disney. (A job I dread every year). I also go to school for business and should have my degree in 2 years. I own my house free and clear, it was important to me to OWN the place before my husband and I tried to have kids. Sadly we found out last year that I can't have kids as part of some complications from the treatment of my Addison's disease which wasn't diagnosed until the summer of 2009. Luckily my husband is a very sweet and loving person and told me that it didn't matter. I think some days we have so many fuzzy babies because he's trying to keep my mind off of it. We have a grey hound mix (King Edward), a pittbull dingo mix (Mary Jane), two cats (spades & Raz-ma-taz), a turtle(Lumpy) that someone hit with a car before we got him so his shell is all messed up, a pair of baby racoons (yin & yang) that we hope to release soon into one of the many wildlife protection parks in our area, and we are now up to four very spoiled gliders (Zoey, Rikku, TuckTuck, & the as of yet not re-named Mr. James)
I love the sun and the way beach sand feels between my toes, I love the smell of coffee, and have abused caffeine and energy drinks since I was 11 years old. I love spicy food and craw-fish. I love chocolate and hide it in the house for emergencies. I love having the house cold so I can bundle up but hate when its cold outside. I love D&D & MTG. I love craft projects and anything that I can use power tools on. I love writing, I've done it since I was little. I published my first book when I was 10 and still have a copy. (I sucks but I was 10)
I hate sewing machines but they hated me first. I hate people that are always late, or inconsiderate and think that habitual criminals should be taken care of the old way . I hate morning people. They are an inhuman mutation and should be breed out. I wish that the world had more surprises in it and think that most people are mostly good. I also believe in second chances because I have been given my share.
I hope that I wasn't too long winded and I hope that others will share bits of themselves as well. I love reading this kind of thing. You can thank Kyro for this she inspired me. So go for it, give us the dirt we like it dirty.

I get the OMG you're shorter than me a lot. My mother in law calls me smidget because with my heels I'm small but without them I'm a midget. It kinda stuck.
I was born in Panama City! We lived in Cove. I lived there until I was 9 maybe. I still talk to my very best friend growing up who still lives there! The part about killing your hubby cracks me up. Funny quote from a movie I saw a long time ago..... "I have been married to my wife for 30 years, there are days I wake up beside her and thing to myself - I am laying next to an angel sent to me from heaven. And then there are days I think to myself - I want to light her on fire." Lol! It's so true....
