Well, im ashleigh. Since everyone else is doing this i figured i would too. Im 18 and i work two jobs and go to school full time. Im studying to become a land surveyor. i fell in love with surveying on accident when i got put into conservation at BOCES during high school. Being the only female in the class i got a ton of crap from the other 29 students in the class. Im glad i never quit because we went to the new york state conservation contests every year. My senior year i brought home first place for land surveying and third in a tree identification contest. (I could name almost any tree in new york that you threw at me) I was never proud of myself until then.
Im very new on this site, but i browse through here like crazy trying to learn more things about gliders so i can be a great mom to my two that will be coming home in a few weeks! (: yes i have done a lot of research on them and i think im deffinetly prepared, thanks to some people on here giving me reassurance.
As of right now, ive got two cats: charlie and sorry who are a few years old. Ive got two turtles who are about 12 years old. A ferret named hell rat who just recently lost her mate named Little bear (rest in peace). And in a few weeks i will have two joeys who are Bandit and Rilee. I hope too get a st bernard some day.
Peace is my lifestyle. I believe some day there will be no war. The only thing i want for christmas is for the troops to be with their families. I lost two cousins, and a best friend in Afgahanistan. I support the troops, not the war.
I drive a 1991 ford festiva that i bought with my hard earned money. I constantly get picked on for it because it looks like a shoe box. But i love it. (:

Hi Ashleigh...my oldest is named Ashley although I didn't spell it quite so uniquely. I guess cuz my mom spelled my name Lyndia but it's pronounced LINDA but of course no one knows that until I tell them. And of course it caused me to be picked on in school so I kept it simple for my kids.
To upload pics... go to the screen like you are replying to a post...the one with all the smilies to the left and the font style,(amongst other things) along the top.
click on the photo of~I think it's supposed to be Mona Lisa with the green arrow, then just browse your pics and download them...they will go into your album which you can access by clicking the little book next to the arrowed Mona Lisa.
