Every time I see a picture of an obese glider, I get an overwhelming urge to let the girls eat their preferred diet of yogurt and mealies just so I can snuggle a super fat glider. *Sigh* I suppose that would be rather irresponsible of me. ;]

I don't like the way that girl handles her gliders... Mine would KILL me if I grabbed their faces like that. Sure, I'm allowed to pet their faces, but it has to be gentle and slow, and they have to smell me and approve of it first.

I don't like it either. She is being too rough with them in my opinion.

those gliders are so cute but they have to be at an awfully high risk of heart disease and all kinds of other stuff because of how overweight they are.

I dont see the cute personally... I can't see the cute in obese children or babies either.
Poor animals have a horrible standard of living and I just feel so sad for them.

Those pictures make me sad. When we decide to keep animals as pets, we are accepting responsibility for them. Allowing them to be obese is cruel for any animal. Not cute. If you watch some of that girls videos, you can see how hard those babies are breathing and they can barely move their wheel. That girl drives me nuts!!
