This i will pass on to you spurred by my friends and contacts from various zoos and rescuers. i dont use a kitchen nor do i put their foods in the same place all the time.... Gliders are foragers.... as part of they're inrichment I made hangers from hangers (plastic coated)....lol. I made them to fit small dishes I have 2 to 3 depending on the day. I hang the dishes in different places in the cage. I cut out little shields to weave into the bars if i place the dishes on the outside walls of the cage so if thet throw pieces they pretty much stay in the cage. Be aware that any and all sharp or pointed edges have to be sanded or capped. For the shields I used the plistic from office report covers and cut squares, slightly melted the edges to dull them. Then all i do is curve them in a "C" and stick them between a couple bars and let go ...they open up and act as a shield. Also, when making the hangers you have to make sure it will hold the weight of the gliders as they like to climb and sit on them.
They are comical in some of the ways they find to get to their foods.. My favorits and omega's fav, is when I hang it in the middle of the cage near the top. He hangs from his back feet into the dish and eats. He does this on the sides of the cage also..lol
