 Gonna be a new owner

Hello, everyone I plan getting two female suggies next month. I was so happy to find this website. Thanks for posting the truth about PPP I was gonna buy their food. But I have chosen a healthier diet for them. I plan on getting them at an exotic pet store not too far from where I live. I'm so excited to get them and I've been doing research like crazy. I wanna know some tips on picking out them when I get them and some bonding tricks. Also does anyone have some safe easy to clean toy suggestions (I know about not using the wodent wheel I plan on getting a raptor) thanks in advance everyone.

I used bonding tricks like putting honey on my fingers and let them lick the honey off my fingers also getting in a tent with the sugar glider. When you are in the tent it lets them gain trust and climb on you and learn your smell. Hope this will help you! :)

I'll definitely ask where they get them. I know that they don't get their puppies from mills so I would hope that would also apply to their gliders. If things don't work out I'll start searching for a breeder

Before buying gliders from the pet store, make sure they are getting gliders from a reputable breeder. By the sounds if it they are mill bred gliders. If the store won't give you the information for the breeder and you can't verify they are licensed and a responsible breeder DO NOT BUY THE GLIDER. If you need help finding a reputable breeder we can help locate one in your area or even a reputable rescue to get your gliders from. Supporting "pet stores" is usually just as bad as buying from pocket pets. If you need help, please post your location and I'll see what I can find in your area.
