My sugar glider herd's adventures
Hello, let me introduce myself, I'm Shaw and this is a tale like no other, why no other you may ask because it is my tale and there for unique. I have several gliders--> Trouble & Lulu, Sully & Willow, Sukie & Bill, Bella & Edward and Peter & TinkerBell.
Trouble is a very loving lionhead who will climb down my shirt and curl up into a ball sleeping the day away, his mate Lulu loves to run over during play time, bite my toe and then look up as if to say "haha" before running away. They have had two joey's Kong named by my son after king kong and Sacha named by myself after my crazy hand surgeon.

well I had a glider experience that I hope will never happen again. Sabeena and Patch my mosaic pair had 2 joeys in pouch. I was excited to see the babies. one day I noticed that 2 peanut shaped bumps had some how become 1. I didn't think much of it untill a few days later and the 1 bump became none, so i went to look where my gliders had been sleeping. What I found was so shocking that it still makes me feel ickie. 1 joey was just barly an inch long, almost like the joey had become dislodged, but what i then found wah joey #2 or should I say peices of joey #2. I have been an EMT for 10yrs and it takes alot to make me vomit. That definatly did. I hope it never happens again. Sully has fully recovered from lumpy jaw, and being neutered. Don't let the neutering part fool you, he still pins Willow down, and "goes for the GOLD" if you know what I mean. Poor Willow she can't even get a break to eat. i hope he outgrows his wanting the "GOLD", but I doubt it.
Bella & Edward, are a little odd, i will go into the glider room turn on the light. and edward will freeze lie a statue. Kinda like if i don't move they can't see you.

They are growing fast. TinkerBell and Peter Pan are enjoying free time climbing the curtains and jumping across the rom on to my back. My HobbiesI LOVE to sew! I have made almost anything you can think of from a wedding gown for my sister to a christing gown for my son, glider pouches & toys. I also make and produce unique embroidery designs. From a flaming softball to celebrate a team wining the state championship, to my former engine company's special logo. I have also taken a scaned copy of my Grand-daughter's foot & hand prints and made them into a design, that will become a very special mother's day gift
