its 9 days since i got my 2 gliders.Sly is bonded with me but doesnt trust me 100% because he still jumps if I move and sometimes hell hide in his pouch when i come in the room ( but only when i turn the light on) he hates the light. I took him out yesterday into my bedroom and let him run around. My little nephew nathan was laying down on the bed with me. Sly was scared of him. Sly kept running all over us haha it feels good it tickles. i let him do so for 2 hours. of course i left the room for a half hour to let him play. This room is totally safe.
The Female is still very depressed. I think she was tooken from her family at a young age.Someone told me they shouldnt leave their family until there 6 months old. Shes 4 months. I know she missed them. She wont eat much. All she eats is yogurt and only sweet potato flavor baby food. And cramberries. She wont eat her eggs, or other fruits or veggies.We dont have the stuff to make the hwp diet yet its on its way though) I havnt even seen her drink water. I even tried bringing it to her. She use to drink it when i brought it to her. So..me and my husband decided to buy her sister. We are hoping this will make her happy. I hope they remember each other only after 9 days of being seperated. I hope they dont fight. If they do i wont know what to do =( I dotn want to seperate them because she needs to be with someone. And if she fight with her own sister all the time then she wont be able to live with any other glider. Im trying to think of the good here. THe lady im buying her sister from told me to take my female gliders bonding pouch with me an put her sister in it when i take her home.And that shell get use to her sister scent that way before i put them together. I hope its ok to put them together right away instead of slowley introducing them? im hoping to bring both of them out of the cage in their own pouches an let them smell each other.I know im gonna be stressed out because its hard work trying to bond with the female i have. now ill have 2 females. i hope they both dont act the same way an hate me an never let me touch them. then i would have doubled the problem =( ah well see how it goes.
