Roxy and Stormys mammaDo they not scratch you when they lay in your bra? And is it not uncomfortable?!? i would be SCARED to death to let mine outside lol =)

LuvMyLilBitsinstead of a bonding pouch try putting a sports bra on! both of my babies love to stay in there all day long what better way for them to get to know your sent ;) i can take them anywhere i go and no one ever knows it....that is untill they poke there heads out of a look around!! try it it worked for us now i can put them down outside and try to walk away they leep onto me before i get a foot away!

Roxy and Stormys mammaThanks. I didn't ever think to bring their cage into my bathroom. I WISH i could let them roam around in my room but i have so many things they can go under. If i let them out in my room its usually just to climb on me or i put them in their balls and let them get some exercise =) See mine wont even sit on my shoulder or even sit still for that matter... I did not know i could feed them cereal... i tried yogurt for a treat and they dont like it. I just try to give them all kinda of different healthy stuff. Like fruits and Veggies...and the basic small animal food. Thanks for the advise =]

jessierocheok to help with the bonding wear a shirt all day and then put it in their cage to let them lay with it. They get more of your smell for a longer time. It seem to work for me. And as far as just holding them not too many suggies just want to be held. They love to adventure around. I would take their cage in to your bathroom or a safe room and just open it and let them decide to get out on their own terms. Mine will now jump out on me and sit on my shoulder normally till i get to my bedroom where they run around. i dont know what you consider as a safe room but any room that they cant get hurt in will do. My room is always a mess but they cant get hurt. And I just keep my door shut. It helped me alot bond with mine cuz I would shut my bedroom light off and sit on my bed and let them come to me. It takes time and you have to be patient. also to get them to come to you, you could always use a treat like i used apple jack cereal. but remember not to go over board and no chocolate cereal. good luck!

I tried to clip their nails to help me be able to play with them without me hurting but it didnt work out because one of their nails started to bleed and i didnt even cut it far...

suppressedtearzWe have a really good bond now. She gets angry and nips when I try to just hold her, because she wants to run around. She's a pain if I go into my room though, because she gets so overwhelmed with everything there is in there so she always scopes out the room and finds where she can jump. She's a pain when I do laundry too because she jumps to the first piece of clothing I hang up. So my advice is to not get discouraged. They will definitely come around especially with a loving Mommy.

suppressedtearzIt took me and Luna quite a while to bond, the person that I adopted her from owned a small family pet store. He only had 2 other employees and they each carried the gliders in bonding pouches. But it still took her some getting used to me. I remember the first time I got her I reached into the cage to pet her and I scared her and she flew out of the cage at me crabbing all the way. I was screaming trying to get her back in the cage. Goodness it was a site. But anyways, you just have to keep trying with them. They have such strong personalities. I would take Luna into the bathtub, so she only really had the option of the floor of the tub or me. She would choose me. Treats during play time. I think it took us almost a year to REALLY bond with each other.
