 Nail Clipping 101

Well, my babies claws were already so long when I got them that they were snagging on the fleece set in their cage. With a lot of help and guidance from Kruegon I finally managed to get them done with minimal injury. Two accidental nicks, one per glider. Thankfully the little cuts clotted quickly and they seem ok now. Hopefully things will be smooth sailing from here on out with the beginning of the bonding process. Glad that's over with.

They got nicked because I was nervous clipping their nails manually for the first time. I'm not a fan of the sand paper because it can get rough on their paws and make them raw. Appreciate the concern though.

Who got nicked, you or them? How? Their nails can get it the way, get the sand paper for the wodent wheel, or be patient and trim their nails manually.
