 Please help

Hi, during this covid lockdown period its really hard to get proper help.My glider, Motti.I m having her past for 5 years, few days back i found her in cage walking with tilt head and so weak, unable to eat.Its seriously so hard to find a proper vet for exotic pets in my country especially during Covid lockdown period. However we manage to find one and rushed her, vet said it could be neuro prob and gave some vitamins but advised to bring her to another Vet as he is more to basic.I realised probably there was calcium deficiency in her.She never showed any signs of illness so i assumed all this while she was good.

But the place he suggested was close and it was so late evening already.
So we brought her back and she was so weak almost dying but some how manage to give her drink water with syringe. The whole 2 days she was suffering but she looked better whenever i placed her on my chest. So i kept her on my chest and hand most of the time.

3rd day she looked bit better,so we had some hopes and took her to another available Vet which was treating exotic pets but those vet handled her pretty bad. They fed her water and put her in oxygen repeatedly in air conditioned room. When they returened her to me she was soaking wet and shaking so badly.I was so shocked, they did not dry her nor clean her.She kept trembling in cold.

I had to wipe out in tissue and calm her.Now she became super stiff.Unable to move at all.

I dont think the vets were professional. They haven given me few medicines.I dont trust them after this.

I m feeding HPW,fruit juice, yogurt honey and water with stringe. She asking for water. Her eyes are open and tounge is in and out when she is hungry. The rest of her body is stiff. I have been trying to keep her warm as possible and massaging her.She is able to grab me once in awhile but mostly stiff. But her will power is really strong. She is trying her best.
Please advise.

Hi, thank you for replying Just a quick update she is recovering,. We had to sacrifice our sleep and infact skipped our meals as we wanted to be by her side 24/7.We fed her HPW, blended vegetables and fruits, water every 2 hours for a week. She is able to move but became hyper. Few days back she got herself tangled in pouch string. I found her on time, she was in bad shape. We managed to release her out but that affected her arms badly as she was biting it in pain. She is not using it anymore. She was recovering well till this happened 😔.Took her to first vet, he did a basic check up and gave painkiller and vitamins. Her arms are not swallen anymore but she is still not using her arms yet. I can see ger trying. She started eating on her own though we are feeding her HPW with syringe everyday with calcium powder. I just want you all to know.. just give your best to save your gliders. Just have hopes.

Im so sorry to here this, especially when we pay good money to vets but they don't give our animals the care they need. My male glider Vianna Sausage died he was the same way, but his coloration was yellow and he was a standard grey. So we thought is was liver disease. I pray you baby will get better! Stay safe!

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do. To me the symptom you describe don't look like calcium deficiency, but rather like a stroke. The important thing is to keep her calm, hydrated and fed, like you do with the syringue (do not force it down her mouth though, better to give it drop by drop on her lips to let her lick). If the vet gave you antibiotics for her, do give her those, even if you don't trust them, and don't hesitate to find nother vet if you see the situation get worse or simply not improve (and I understand that covid19 restrictions make things a lot more complicated) If you can get your hand on some critical care formula (vetark or similar) try to feed her with it for a while, it would allow her to have a nutrient intake without having to actually spend energy digesting them.
