Sugar glider ate tums! Please help!

 Sugar glider ate tums! Please help!

Hey I was letting my sugar gliders run in my room while I prepared their food and one of my gliders found some tums and took a few bites out of it! Does anyone know if this is dangerous? Should I be freaking out right now? They seem to be okay. I'm not sure which one actually did it! Please help if you can :,( ,( [/b]

The main compound in Tums is Calcium Carbonate. In general, it's not a very toxic substance. That being said, call your vet and ask them if the amount they consumed will harm them.
