if you are still looking you can try craigslist or hoobly.com. they usually will have some classifieds. or you can google "sugar glider rescue in kentuky" and see what comes up. good luck.

I am in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Every weekend, our local "flea-land" is open. there is a guy that comes in every weekend to open a booth selling all kinds of little suggies. now i do not know the prices...but i know that he does sell them, they appear to be healthy and in good shape....just a suggestion....not too many places around ky that has them. also, when you first go to sugarglider.com , on the right of ur screen, is a "featured adoptable pet" click that picture, it will take you to the website petfinder.com i think, and they have some suggies here in ky too that need to be rescued!

I know what you mean. The cheapest one I can find in Al is $225! I finally decided to get him but I need another one now & it can't be for more than $100.

I live around Lexington and I am actually getting one sometime this week. My friend had one and is not able to keep it so she is offering me the glider and supplies. The Festival of the Horse around the Scott county area had young sugar gliders for sale last year at one of the booths. I'm not sure if they will be back this year.

There is a glider rescue in Cleveland, Ohio. I live just north of louisville, and am looking for a mate for mine. I'd be willing to make a trip up there with you if you wan to head up that way. :D
